Hang the dress up and let the iron heat up to one of the steam settings. Make sure you have plenty of water in the iron and hold it about 6-10 inches away from the dress. Press the burst of steam button and pull down on the hem at the same time. Using this technique is similar to the method used when professionally steaming a garment.
