What Can A Flower Girl Do Besides Throw Flowers?

The ceremony venue doesn’t want the flower girl to throw flower petals. I have an idea in mind but I can’t find what I wanted anymore.
It was a sign that the flower girl held that said Here Comes The Bride… If anyone knows where I can find that sign please let me know.
If I can’t find that sign anywhere what else could the flower girl hold besides a bouquet of flowers?
If this helps the colors are red and gold and the wedding is on December 19th.
Please and Thank You.

I don’t think the sign is a bad idea, however it’s really going to depend on the age of your flower girl. I mean you know how kids are, if she doesn’t hold it so people can read it, everyone’s going to be going… what was that? Etc. Or I can’t see what it says and so on.
We had the same problem as you and instead of dropping the petals, we got her the cinderella castle (and no we didn’t have a fairy tale theme, it just looked cute with the little flower girl) basket from ebay, it was so pretty, it looks just like the castle and it had glitter on it and jewels, and they even put the rosebuds on the side and some streaming ribbon in our wedding colors and then sense we had a fall wedding we put a glittered garland in the basket so it could be overflowing, it looked so pretty and with yours being in December you’d be able to find a lot of pretty red and gold garlands at the craft store to put in the basket. Or you could even put in a light up bouquet to make it even more special.
And then sense our flower girl really wanted to drop petals, we had her do it when the DJ announced everyone in at the reception, we had him announce her first and it was easy to just pull out the garland and put in the petals and then she dropped them for our walk way in which was great. And as my wedding planner said, it’s always better to ask for forgivness instead of permission, so we didn’t ask the reception place if we could we just did it because we didn’t want to be told no again, sense our flower girl had her heart set on dropping the petals and it all worked out great! If you’d like to see how it looked for our flower girl just message me and I’ll send you a link! Good Luck!!!

I think that the sign would be cute and different. I found two sites that might help you with the sign.
This should be easy to make, you buy a length of material, two thin wooden poles (craft shops should have them) and some fabric paint and grab someone with decent penmanship and write/ paint your own sign. Then you beg whoever has decent sewing skills to sew the pieces of wood into the fabric.
You can even have red material with gold writing or vice versa.
    Good luck with everything.

She could carry a pomander or a small bouquet. For a December wedding, she could carry a small fur muff accented with seasonal greenery.

Hold a bouquet of flowers and walk with the ring bearer

She could blow bubbles, or you could make your own sign that says ‘Here Comes the Bride’.
