Where Can I Find Plus Sized Wedding Dresses?

My friend is going to have a small wedding and she’s a plus sized girl. What are some websites or stores to go to find dresses for larger women on a budget?
Thanks!

Here’s the perfect website for plus size brides on a budget. The best thing about them is that they don’t charge extra for things like plus sizes, hem to hollow measurements or even custom measured dresses.
All of their dresses can be made in plus sizes. They have over 270 styles all under $500. Plus shipping is free worldwide.http://www.mybigfatbeautifulwedding.com
    Hope this helps.

Most bridal retailers will have a plus sized section, and there are a couple of specialist plus sized ranges. I know these are in the UK, but I believe the range is available in the states – Sincerity Plus is a nice selection of bigger sized dresses, and they dont go about it all wrong by just making smaller dress styles in a bigger size, these dresses are designed to fit larger proportioned people, and are really flattering. Ive put a link below so you can see the 2009 collection, then if you like it you can do a websearch for stockists in your area.

Try David’s Bridal. They have a number of dress that are very beautiful. However, (not knowing the budget) the dress start at $99 and can go over $800. Also there are not a large amount of plus sized dresses at $99.
Also, Lane Bryants does have a wedding line. But it is not on their website and I am not sure how to find the dresses.
If she is a young bride on a tight budget, she may be able to get away with a white prom dress. Also, I know that a few prom shops around my area, also carries a few wedding dresses.
Last option: find a seamstress or a friend who sews well. A budget friendly alternative is to have the dress made from a pattern. It can then be altered to be a perfect match for her.

Try David’s Bridal…or you can always call bridal salons and see if they carry dresses in larger sizes. If you have a garment district in your city, try that as well (we have them here in LA…and you can get wedding stuff cheap.)

Davids Bridal, their 99 dollar gown sale ends on the 26 so hurry and schedule an appointment if that is where you want to go and get the sale. Lilywedding.com I think several gown designers offer gowns in a plus size. Good luck

Almost every bridal gown shop has plus sized gowns now. I would try David’s Bridal (that’s where I got mine, and I’m plus sized) or Alfred Angelo.

Kiyonna.com or Lane Bryant.com may have some dresses. David Bridal is always a good one.
