I am going to give you some tips for unusual wedding gifts. Remember that these are unlikely to be bought by anyone else. If you don’t know the couple getting married then this could back fire on you a bit.

Nowadays many couples live together before they decide to get married. You will find this makes it harder to find something to buy for them. In my opinion this gives you the right to buy something a little different. If you don’t buy unusual wedding gifts then they are likely to already have what you buy and that would disappoint them.

My first choice of unusual wedding gifts is going to be pets. In my memory I don’t remember anybody ever buying a pet for a wedding. Now that they are getting married they will be a proper family so there is no reason for that to stop you? Why wouldn’t they want a pet as a way of improving that family?

Are they adrenalin junkies? How about a parachute jump? If they have never done something like this before then this would be a great present. This will be something to tell their grandchildren about.

Something for the home is always good. Now if they live together then a good thing to get is a gadget. Gadgets definitely count as unusual wedding gifts. What about one of those cheese graters that grate the cheese automatically?

This would be perfect if you have a big ego. What about a special photo frame? One that has a photo of you and the happy couple in there. Ideally you will be in the middle of them with your arms around their shoulders. You can observe when they take the photo out of the frame.

This article has been a little tongue in cheek. The reasons for this are that people worry too much about buying wedding gifts. In reality the happy couple would not even remember, so why not have some fun with your unusual wedding gifts?
